“Re-Evaluate Safety”, First Prize for the Iti “E. Fermi” of Bassano del Grappa

The team of students from the “E. Fermi” Institute of Bassano del Grappa won, for the quality of the video and technical content, the twelfth edition of “Ri.Valutare la sicurezza” (Reevaluate Safety), the national competition conceived and promoted by the Galileo Ferraris Technical Institute of Naples, this year on the theme of emergencies at school, to relaunch, especially among young people, the culture of safety in the world of work and develop education and respect for the rules.

The winning short film entitled “Safety Does Not Stop” by the Venetian students simulates an accident that occurred to a student with a significant reflection on the opportunity to make some important corrections to the procedures.

Among the objectives of the now traditional initiative, there is also the valorization of creativity, expressive abilities and communication skills in the group work of students and the strengthening of the integration between School-Business-Territory-Institutions.

The Competition, open to all secondary schools of I and II degree in Italy, was organized in collaboration with the AIP&.P. (Italian Association of Prevention and Protection) in partnership with Institutions, Companies, Organizations, Associations committed and active on the issues of safety, counting on numerous recognitions of moral patronage.

Among the partners of this 12th edition, the MIM - Campania Regional School Office, the Labor Inspectorate of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Naples, the Industrial Union of Naples, the National Federation of Knights of Labor of the Southern Group, the Federation of Masters of Labor of Italy of the Campania Region, the TSM Automotive Group, the ACEN, the training body Formedil Naples, the National Association of Enel Seniors, the Federmanager Naples, the Lions Club Acerra and the Asse 4 business network.

The final event held in the Auditorium “G. Esposito” of the Istituto Tecnico Napoletano saw schools external to Ferraris climb to the podium, the IIS “Angioy” of Sassari (SS) and the IIS “8 Marzo-Lorenz” of Mirano (VE). Cash prize for the first place, plaques for the second and third place, numerous prizes for students and tutors who distinguished themselves in all categories.

The works were conducted and moderated by the honorary president of AIP&.P, Master of Work Mario Rosario Corrente.

“We are relaunching a theme that has always been dear to our institute, while registering an ever-significant interest – underlines the Institute’s deputy Prof. Gennaro Borgia – despite the school and PNRR commitments. As a school community that has always been committed on this front, we are here and will continue to be here”.
